I just tried using it with https://f-droid.org/packages/sushi.hardcore.droidfs/ to have encrypted files available on Linux, cloud storage and Android, works quite well

To anyone put off by having to program in C++, I recently managed to make Qt work with Kotlin and it has been a dream. You get all the power of Qt coupled with all the niceness of a modern, programmer-friendly language.
