Are there any great android tv launchers available? For those of us who want to escape the ad filled default launchers here

I use Flauncher on my "timvision" androidtv box. The OEM replaced the Google launcher with a custom one that have even more ADS than the default one (and it takes 15 seconds to launch because it first wants to download all the ADS, then it starts drawing the UI)

Flauncher is basic but it's not bad

Disclaimer: some people does not think that the "suggested" movies or tv series are ads. If i'm not subscribed to that specific streaming service and money was exchanged to "suggest" that content, then it's plain advertising, and a launcher where 95% of the home screen is ads, is unacceptable

Suggested content that is not on a service you are signed into or pay for are inarguably ads.

It's no different to "Get Disney+ to watch this show"

Thanks, will check it out!

Will leave this one up, but just a heads up on rule #2 - please post questions to !askandroid@lemdro.id, thanks!

I'm glad this got left up, because it doesn't seem like a rule violation to me. It benefits at least some other community members, like me, who didn't know there were any options at all for a TV launcher.
