What is the policy/attitude towards LLM contributions in GNU Emacs? (lists.gnu.org)

We are awaiting the decision by the GNU Project on these matters, which will define the policy for all the GNU packages, and in the meantime we don't accept LLM-generated code, as a precaution.

Nice move, thx! Came here specifically to search for this information. I'm considering moving from Vim/Neovim precisely because of slop contamination.

Wow I didn't know they were doing that. I'm an ungodly Vim-Emacs hybrid creature (depending on context) so thank you for the heads-up.

Yeap, a user questioned them about technical and ethical problems, they kind of gave the middle finger and published an AI permissive policy
