Has anyone set up file-sharing, especially torrents or something similar, over reticulum (RNS)?

I'm not into networking, so I'm not sure if what I'm asking actually makes sense, but the way reticulum is described it seems like it'd essentially eliminate the need for VPNs? Or maybe the RNS-VPN effectively replaces your VPN so instead of sending your traffic to a particular trusted private server it just sends it to the reticulum network? Would this still then require access to the wider web or would local torrents work? I don't really know how torrent trackers work or what would need to be replaced or modified.

I apologize if this is a dumb question I just don't have much knowledge in this area.

Reticulum is a new network spec different from IP. I don't think you can piggy back over ip. So you'd need to build network infrastructure

If you want a way to torrent without a VPN, while using anonymous networks, look into I2P. It's not a mesh network, and it will be slow, but it's suitable for torrenting.

Afaik qbittorrent also has a feature to torrent over i2p

The latency would be over 9000! The speed would be lower than -1
