Honestly... why the fuck am I sitting here in the US rooting for Iran.
Oh yeah... because "Trump".
But when you dig into the history of the US in the 20th and 21st centuries, you start to notice this isn’t just a “Trump” thing. Outside of WW1 and WW2 (though the US had spurious reasons for joining WW1), the US has been the bad guys in every other instance.
The US is the imperialist hegemon, Trump has just been more open about it.

Anyway good luck Iran. Maybe this is the exit strategy all along for the AI bubble. “Well, we can’t do the AI anymore because Iran bombed all our data centers. Sorry folks, everyone can go home now. We would have done the AI that totally worked the way we totally said it did, and it would have been awesome, but Iran ruined it for all of us. Let us never speak of this again.”
Maybe this is the exit strategy all along for the AI bubble.
Either that or it's the trigger that gets Trump to bail out the industry. "We need this to win the war" is the new "to big to fail."

If this wasn't so tragically real, it would be almost fun to see these grown ass super serious people on both sides sound like they are cutting a promo for a wrasslin' match.
