Another monsterfied take on the youth culture/beach party movie that was so popular in the 1960s (see previous bmoviebonanza post The Beach Girls and the Monster.)

Yeah, these monsters look super goofy but they really rack up the kill count.

The Horror of Party Beach can be streamed on Tubi but it's also available on YouTube.

If so, this movie is a gem

Though I recall it being in colour? Maybe that’s my imagination.

There are a few dancing scenes, but I wouldn't say that it's a significant portion of the movie. Maybe you're thinking of a different beach-party monster movie?
