I can’t get over how revelations says the followers of the antichrist will wear a blasphemous name on their heads and the MAGA/Trump people don’t connect the dots to their Trump hats.
It’s like they’re playing a connect the dots but don’t know the numbers show the order to connect them. They just draw random lines until pareidolia kicks in.
Literal death cult - I think some of the more religious ones genuinely believe he is heralding the rapture, which is good? I guess? Back to daddy?

I agree with the sentiment but god does command some serious carnage:
Ezekiel 9:5-7 (ESV): "Pass through the city after him and strike. Your eye shall not spare, and you shall show no pity. Kill old men outright, young men and maidens, little children and women."
Psalm 137:9 (NIV): "Happy is the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks."
1 Samuel 15:3 (NIV): "Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys."
The one about the Amalekites is being cited today by the Israeli government to justify killing everybody in Gaza and Southern Lebanon (and soon the West Bank).
The US and Israel are insane religious states just like Iran.
...and, once again, the surest way to anti-theism is to actually read their texts.
Don't forget the Flood story where he killed nearly entire human race, and numerous other tales of death and destruction (Sodom & Gommorrah, Jericho, etc.).
The God described in the Bible is a monster.
Remember that time that God told Moses to strike the rock so that the people could drink water. Later, Moses struck the rock again without instruction from God, and God was all like, "oh, that's cool. I'm a super-chill and reasonable being; you don't gotta ask me for permission to end your own suffering."
Oh wait, I'm misremembering what God said. I believe it was actually something along the lines of, "I'll fucking kill you, Moses. I'm gonna make you slave and toil to bring these people, who I've expressed nothing but hated for, to the land that you've dreamt of seeing, and then I'm gonna fucking kill you right before you get to see it. You know what, motherfucker? Write that shit down. You're gonna write a fucking book about how powerful I am compared to you little shits, and you're gonna write about your little fuck-up, and how I'll fucking kill you. I decide when the suffering ends!"
So, yeah. Let's assume that so these pious assholes and their moody invisible friend are right/real. What part of their book has ever indicated that God wants them accelerating his plans?

Another one:
I lurk on a Qanon forum sometimes, and they were having a hard time dealing with the “demon” with three horns in the original. They came to the conclusion that the image was Satanic, and Trump was cleverly using it to flush out fake supporters or something.
Sometimes being a deluded dumbass takes real commitment. You gotta learn those mental backflips and do them on command, every time.

Fun fact: The original AI (and Trump himself) did such a piss-poor job of imagining the U.S. flag that he got the stripes wrong (the outermost stripes should be red, not white).
The one thing it should be good at, pattern recognition, is bad, ironically people don't understand that ai as it stands also doesn't truly understand anything

My dad’s dumbass MAGA girlfriend is a nurse.
When that thing passed that declared nursing to no longer be a “professional” occupation, she was sad. She said “I’m not a professional anymore”. She did not say “this makes no sense, my specialized knowledge absolutely indicates that my career path is that of a professional”.
It was a soul-crushing example of the destructive thought patterns that the alt-right preys on. A blind respect for authority, even when the decisions made are harmful and illogical.
