i want to be put into dog mode---

but not.... the loud agressive loudly barking "woof!!! woof!!! >:(" kind of dog, bzt more like the "arfarf :D" kind of ouppygirl type thing-

where its more vibes and less "oh no im scared u will bite into my leg if i run too quickly making u think im a threat"....

[-] ordnance_qf_17_pounder@reddthat.com 50 points 5 months ago

You need Jesus

to put you on a leash and help fulfill your desire

[-] Smorty@lemmy.blahaj.zone 9 points 5 months ago

dunno if i would trust jesus with that... hes a stranger to me.

Good girl! Stranger=danger

Never thought of you in an[y] other dog mode 💖

[-] Smorty@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 5 months ago

ive just made soooo many bad experiences with dogs.... and also they r so large and scary and loud and fast and heavy and..... scary living breathing things people keep as pets...

sigh--- i run for my bus a lot, u see?

[-] TotallynotJessica@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 5 months ago

you'd be they type of dog that would lick burglars instead of biting them?

[-] Smorty@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 5 months ago

(i had to look up what a burglar is)

ithink I would just look at them and see what they get for themselves <3

~~i would lick u tho~~

i would lick you back :p

[-] catfeeder@piefed.blahaj.zone 10 points 5 months ago

I'd totally be the "bites into your leg" kind of dog 😇

Ever tried the underground scene?
ever sub-woofed?

[-] Flames5123@sh.itjust.works 41 points 5 months ago

I did this to my girlfriend and wife, but they updated it to day, “My driver will be back soon.” :( can’t even have a pet kink with Tesla.

[-] TotallynotJessica@lemmy.blahaj.zone 34 points 5 months ago

Yet another reason to trade in your Tesla

[-] Flames5123@sh.itjust.works 7 points 5 months ago

No point in trading it in when it’s a 2018 model and fully paid off. Gas is as expensive as ever and I live in a state where electricity is cheap. Plus I take transit more than I drive anyways. It’s just for my wife and groceries and long trips now.

[-] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 2 points 5 months ago

People will stone you for having a Nazi car :/

[-] korazail@lemmy.myserv.one 6 points 5 months ago

I wanted a Tesla when it was the upstart 'we can make a viable EV' brand.

I don't judge anyone in a Tesla "car", since I was only enough money away from buying one and thinking I was being environmentally conscious and an early adopter supporting the future. And that time was simpler, when the fascism and technocracy was still hidden in general.

Cyber trucks, though... By that point, it was clear what you would be supporting.

[-] Flames5123@sh.itjust.works 1 points 5 months ago

Exactly. You can also tell by the lights who bought it at the “Nazi” phase.

[-] Flames5123@sh.itjust.works 6 points 5 months ago

I’ve had someone put the Nazi symbol in my dirt on my bumper. I don’t wash it. I don’t drive it a lot.

But no… No one will “stone me to death” for having a car. I live in a super liberal city. No one says shit, maybe because it’s so dirty showing I don’t give a shit about the car because it’s a fucking car. You need to realize things cost money and people CANNOT give that up because a billionaire went insane. We are not rich as consumers. I cannot just get a new EV that works like this.

I’m sorry, but saying it’s a “Nazi car” when I’ve had this for 8 years is crazy. It’s a car. I will use it. I will not buy another, I know Elon is a crazy fucker, and I don’t want to support her (wrong pronoun bc she doesn’t respect pronouns and fuck her).

[-] Mk23simp@lemmy.blahaj.zone 37 points 5 months ago

You'd better bark for your owner like a good little puppy. :P

[-] TotallynotJessica@lemmy.blahaj.zone 15 points 5 months ago

I'd never!ruff!

wags tail :3

[-] QuinnyCoded@sh.itjust.works 33 points 5 months ago

aweeeeee that's so cuteeeeee 🩷

[-] prettybunnys@piefed.social 25 points 5 months ago

Still illegal in my state, the one time calling cops can be funny.

[-] taiyang@lemmy.world 38 points 5 months ago

When in doubt, you can break the windows and say you were worried for the dogs safety. At least, when it's a Tesla.

Actually even if there isn't a dog, just to be on the safe side.

[-] TotallynotJessica@lemmy.blahaj.zone 38 points 5 months ago

I wouldn't do that, as the cops will probably kill the dog

[-] Zink@programming.dev 10 points 5 months ago

That dog was threatening an all-american vehicle dammit!

[-] NahMarcas@lemmy.ml 24 points 5 months ago

In spain is illegal keep kids or animals in the car, no matter what, is even allowed break windows to free them

[-] wewbull@feddit.uk 14 points 5 months ago

Maybe so, but the reason for that law is because the cabin would overheat. It maybe something that they want to revisit as EVs can run A/C whilst parked.

[-] minkymunkey_7_7@lemmy.world 15 points 5 months ago

It took Spain 350 years to review that the Inquisition was wrong. It ended in 1834. I think attitudes and technology had changed quite a bit since 1478.

[-] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 5 points 5 months ago

Maybe for pets, but it's still not fail-safe.

[-] Broken_Orange_Juice@lemmy.world 22 points 5 months ago

Why is this place so horny

[-] TotallynotJessica@lemmy.blahaj.zone 34 points 5 months ago

It's kinda always been this way

[-] vzqq@lemmy.blahaj.zone 17 points 5 months ago

[-] yuri@pawb.social 7 points 5 months ago

[-] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 3 points 5 months ago

[-] WorldsDumbestMan@lemmy.today 6 points 5 months ago

[-] EyIchFragDochNur@lemmy.world 10 points 5 months ago

How do you pronounce "brb"?

[-] Whitebrow@lemmy.world 14 points 5 months ago

Like birb, but without the i

[-] jjj@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

So still like birb?

(lol)

Not to go on a tangent but lol stands for lol out loud now.

[-] Filetternavn@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 5 months ago

Just by saying the letters, as it's an acronym for "be right back"

[-] max@lemmy.blahaj.zone 8 points 5 months ago

Moderator Guidelines

  • Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
  • Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
  • When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
  • Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
  • Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
  • Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
  • Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
  • Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
  • Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
  • Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
  • Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
  • Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
  • First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
  • Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
  • No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
  • Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
  • Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
