I have a friend that I'm sure she will want to write one too but we don't have a clue about blogging sites.

Update: she's enthusiastic about the idea.

Hi! The first thing I think about is: be sure that the solution you choose to host your typecast generates a RSS-feed, in order to be visible on typosphere.net. Beyond that, it's very much up to you: a lot of typospherians use Blogger, so it may make it easier for others to comment on your post if you choose that too.

A typecast is a method for syndicating/broadcasting content to the internet by posting to a website by typing up a post using a typewriter. More infos and examples here.

Posts about typewriters which are not typecasts should be posted on !lemmy.cafe/c/typewriters. Typecasts about typewriters can be posted on both! Cosspost, or publish the same link twice.
