The constant pirates that attacked everytime i started jumping into new systems is way i stopped playing. I don't want more enemies. I want a cohesive story.
What you don't like the story?
"You observe the anomaly. It wiggles in the past, a world where blue is green. Purple has no meaning. The cries of a salamander echo through space. Reset the anomaly?"
Truly compelling stuff I say.
What you don’t like the story?
Dunno about her, but I dislike how just about everything is 100% tell, don't show. The fact that you get small advances by simply visiting random systems that happen to have an Atlas around breaks immersion for me.
Truly compelling stuff I say.
Might be, but the delivery is so flat it's indistinguishable from a tumblr poet posting while high.
I was making a joke about the nonsense that I wrote being compelling, I agree with your analogy. It's pretty spot on lol
Wooshed right over my head 😅
You can fly past those, or warp using your capital ship.
I gave up on the capital ship. I got one when they first dropped and never used it again. They even blanked my ships name out. Apparently BulletsForTheDead was offensive once they implemented online play.
This game lost me a few upsates ago. The creatable ships was fun though. Untill it wasn't. This update just sounds like more bullet sponges to deal with when i dont want to.
Plus, expeditions suck ass.
As someone who has almost 600 hours on their new save (my old save from day 1 was corrupted and I fubared the restore) expeditions are my favorite part of the game.
I get they can be frustrating. But I really enjoy them, and usually do them multiple times.
Thats cool. Ill wave my peepee too.
I have exactly 957 hours according to steam. Expedition, and the entire Nexus, is a huge waste of time and are boring. I hate it every time ive done even one of them.
No Man's Sky
Hello interlopers of Lemmy!
This is a community for people to discuss, ask questions and show their appreciation to Hello Game's No Man's Sky.
As my experience with Lemmy is in it's infancy and my experience in managing a community in general is bar none, please do give me some leeway as I get my footing. But for general rules...
Rules:
• No NSFW
• Treat others with respect
• Keep on topic, unless there is about the community itself or a fundamental topic that affects all Lemmy/Sh.itjust.works users
• Please only make posts in English
Also, as this is a budding experience for me, I am fully open to suggestions and/or constructive criticism when it comes to running a community.
Also also, I use Jerboa for Lemmy which doesn't seem to have notifications, and I also won't be around 24/7 to see what's happening, so expect slow or long waits between my interactions.
Hope all goes well
