“It’s the most frustrating thing I’ve run up against in my 12 years as Ag Commissioner,” Miller said. “We have the ability to shut that and eradicate that screwworm. We can do it in about 60 days. USDA has the tools and the knowledge to do it.”

Maybe "USDA had" is the correct tense.

You wanted small government, now you have it.

I think I remember when DOGE cut some of the USDA programs for screwworms and some of the AG community were warning how this could be very bad for cattle in the near future.

I swear, by the time Trump is done, even Republicans will be wishing they never voted for him. The rest of the world will be wishing for another Trump to fuck the US up even more.
