Sandy Hook families who won nearly $1.5 billion in legal judgments against conspiracy theorist Alex Jones for calling the 2012 Connecticut school shooting a hoax have offered to settle that debt for only pennies on the dollar — at least $85 million over 10 years.

He is not going to pay that either. If he accepts and doesn't pay, they had better have a clause in the agreement that will reinstate the original judgment.

I don't understand how you can just not pay something that was court ordered without jail time

That's because you aren't wealthy enough. There are different rules for the rich, friend. He also happens to still have a private army of idiots that will vote how they are told which still gives him influence.
