Noup, i get the opposite. 6 hours of beating myself up, because i didn't do good enough and because i could do it. It wasn't that hard and overanalyzing every detail that didn't go perfectly and what to do to improve it.

No. I get "good, now you've proven you can do things. Do more, ok?" Then I either get very productive for hours, or I do the opposite and feel awful for it. Unless it's one of the very few times I've had truly nothing pressing to do at all and in that case I can get the "you deserve to do nothing" feeling for like a night.

Owner class also has this skill but make it 10 years rather than just a week.

Recently got a laptop running bazzite. Most surprising feature is that if you schatje your mouse, the cursor temporarily embiggens. Very useful feature that I never thoughti needed.

I think that the thing about adhd and reward is that it is entirely up to how mentally difficult the task is and almost completely disconnected from the actual task. The irony is that the simpler a task is, the more mentally complicated it gets as you avoid it since you start recognizing the absurdity of your struggle compared to the task, and this mental anguish results in a ridiculous sense of achievment once the task is completed.

I have avoided the dishes for a week, I did half of them and felt so good about it that it actually made me excited, just because all week I struggled so much with it that essentially the achievement was about winning this mental fight that was literally hurting me all week.

In a way the task itself is just a physical indicator that you got through the mental hardship

naw I beat myself up to do at least one thing a day that is not an everyday thing. then I have persmission to do everyday things more. its a slog but once in a great while you have those incredible days where you actually get a lot done. man I wish I could flip a switch and get into that mode.
