Punk Rock

One of the original, and currently largest, punk communities on Lemmy. The purpose of this place should be obvious from the title. Self promotion is ok, but spam is not, so keep it reasonable.

The goal is to help everyone find new tracks from around the world. Post new music, or your old favourites, but hopefully as you browse the group you'll find something you haven't heard before. Think more crate digging than top 40 streaming services.

Where possible please try to link to Bandcamp, so others can support the bands you love.

I used to fall asleep to Napalm Death on my way home from college then university.
It was confusing at first, as I put it on to stay awake, but then I just went with it. My brain accepts their songs as more melodic than they appear, strange. Anyone else have similar experiences?

I used to do the same: I would fall asleep to Rings of Saturn in high school. Same deal; more melodic than expected and also untreated AuDHD and bipolar made for a noisy brain.

Not napalm death, but for a while I went to sleep to the movie "Die hard."

Machine guns and explosions dont normally line up with lullaby's, but I'd watched it so much that I found it comforting. I expect my brain just learned to filter out the louder noises as I slept.
