that drum is something I suddenly need lmao
If you don't know, it's called a hand pan or hang drum, and it sounds awesome 😄
Be my wife.
Like the idea of getting hang drum.
Put on a compilation of hang drum music while on a road trip.
Some hours later ...
No longer feel the urge to get a hang drum.
Forget that music is still on the memory card.
Sometimes it comes on on shuffle in the car.
Fastest skipped track ever!
All that and it costs an arm and leg
Looks like a really chill way to stim though, so would be worth it for me
Make your own alternative "Hank drum" using a safely emptied propane tank
Oh my, that's a neat project idea. I imagine it's quite hard tuning the individual flaps to their correct frequency but that's something I'd absolutely try
You don't gotta start from scratch, there's a template you can print and glue up!
The instructions on that page are pretty much inscrutable, so follow this instructable instead. My friend and I did this about 20 or so years ago when we were in high school and still barely knew how to use tools. It took a couple of weekends. If you know what you're doing, this is probably a short weekend project.
I'd totally try my hand at making these again, but I learned that I have no percussion talents whatsoever, and that I should stick to wind instruments.
Have you got more? @_@
yipee indeed!!!!
