My daughter and I love going to the library and picking out books to read before bed. I can't imagine trying to replace that with a soulless LLM.

But think of all the time you’ll save!
Instead of spending useless time bonding over the shared experience of going to the library - a publicly funded entity that is the only place in current society where you can just exist without buying things - and then the tedious time spent talking about and choosing books together, you can now have an AI care for everything. You can even use their AI to voice the story for you to remove the need to interact with your child at all!
So it's for Mark.
I'm not going to knock this. I'm a pretty quiet guy and my imagination sucks. I just focus on what I need to do next. I did read to my daughter but I can't make shit up on the fly and I don't do voices
It's better that you read to your daughter poorly than delegate it to an AI. Once she's big, you can't go backwards. Why waste it on AI?
Just give the corporate surveillance state your children. It's inevitable barring resistance.
