Yeah, the feddiverse feels soo much more grown up when I can accurately post my frustrations and emphasize them as I want when talking about the current global political shit show.

I haven’t seen them. Voyager on mobile leaves out a lot of profile info, if that’s where he shared it. I don’t tend to go digging into other users outside of the reverse either. Regardless of his behavior elsewhere on the net, his behavior in this comm is…fucking whacked. The vitriol he so quickly dives into each time is repugnant. And the last few times I noticed it was specifically bc his posts got downvoted without comments/interaction. He spammed seething posts bc no one was interacting. Dude needs professional help of some kind.

I had to read all the comments on this post but when I saw this comment originally, I was certain this whole thing was a bit. I’m terminally online and I’ve never seen this a hole.
Also, just to highlight the disturbingness of that post, but on one of the other socials he is on, he posted that image and claimed it was his own son’s nose and the cake was made out of his own son 🤢
That’s just bizarre. At first I thought some of those could fit into somewhere like surreal memes, but no, that’s just weird in the worst way. Again, dude needs therapy or some form of professional help.
How is a brand new account able to just start spamming posts like this? I'm surprised new accounts, or accounts that haven't posted, aren't either rate limited or need to have the post approved by a mod.

I don't think it's necessary to impose those types of rules - people like him will still do it, but then all of a sudden there's an economy for aged accounts, etc.
Promoting a culture of just blocking/banning/ignoring the ne'er-do-wells is clearly working. Otherwise a post like this wouldn't blow up. For every one of these guys on here, places like reddit and YouTube have 10.
Unfortunately while I do like the fediverse, the mod tools are woefully lacking. Piefed implemented pretty basic user scores as a mitigating factor and... well it didn't go over great with large parts of the community.

Frankly, I don't think there is the framework to ip-Ban someone and in even in that case they could probably just use a VPN, I think the best thing is to just completely ignore him and not engage whatsoever. But of course it's the internet. Good luck getting everyone to ignore him... Just keep reporting him to mods and move on I guess

We can ask the mods to escalate to an admin. I don’t think there’s a perfect way to oust this person, but it could maybe make things more difficult for him
