I used to have a macbook where I had linux installed with a Windows theme.
This is like making your new SO dress up as your abuser back when he was nice.
Like, this is not healthy behavior at this point.
its kinda pointless. I don't care that it look the same. its nice for menu options to be familiar or to have familiar and useful behavior like windows snap but the crap colors and logo. nah.

yeah, it looked good for its time, and worked well, straight forward.
That's why I like the Cinnamon desktop that comes with Mint. It has the "feel" of Windows 7.

It's a good start but since you're using a GTK desktop you should really check out the B00merang-Protect's Windows 7 theme
