Rising of the Shield Hero, does it have a soft ending when it can be safely dropped?

For example, you can stop reading How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom after vol. 4. The author wrote it have it's own beginning, middle and end. He claims this was done to ensure the readers can a complete story in case it got cancelled, does Shield Hero have something like this?
