i hear some have locked bootloaders.

Yeah, I believe if you can unlock the bootloader you can install a proper Linux distro. I've never done it myself, though.

Feels like Signal is on a roll lately! The biggest thing for me was the ability to link more phones but it's nice to see them working hard!

My old Chromebook is already running Linux but it's still nice to see!
