As you already know, Open Food Facts calculates and displays the Green-Score (the environmental footprint) for food products in its open database.

But what if you want to know the Green-Score of a recipe prepared at home, in a restaurant or in a canteen?

Thanks to support from ADEME (The French Agency for Ecological Transition) as part of a ‘Call for Commons’ initiative to accelerate the ecological transition, Open Food Facts is embarking on the development of a tool to assess the environmental impact of recipes – which will be free and open source!
