This Realtor is an idiot. Advocate for the buyer?
So you're saying the realtor should advocate to have the camera taken down?
I mean, I'd be all for that as a means to get rid of them, but I'm pretty sure that is NOT going to happen.
I'm not a realtor, and I hate that business, but yes absolutely. You're working for the buyer or the seller.
For example, in the u.s. If you want to buy a house, get your own rep. If you want to sell a house, get your own rep. None of this is /real/ and it's fucking stupid but it is like cutting the grass. Its what you're supposed to do
But also yeah that real estate person has an obligation to advocate for their client
Good move, buyer. I would cancel a showing for any house in an HOA. Have never lived in one of those.
So they presumably have footage of women in bikinis. Do minors also use this pool?
I’m surprised the HOA didn’t turn them off in the first place
ETA: I meant that he HAO existing didn’t turn off the buyer
Are you kidding me? HOA's love anything to do with spying and snooping. They are run as the quintessential mini fascist fiefdoms.
I think they meant turn off the potential buyer, not turn off the camera.

Automated License Plate Readers (ALPRs) are AI-powered cameras that capture and analyze images of all passing vehicles, storing details like your car’s location, date, and time. They also capture your car’s make, model, color, and identifying features such as dents, roof racks, and bumper stickers, often turning these into searchable data points. These cameras collect data on millions of vehicles—regardless of whether the driver is suspected of a crime. While these systems can be useful for tracking stolen cars or wanted individuals, they are mostly used to track the movements of innocent people.
