What's terrible is I need to suffer with his tv career, then his political career, and then once he dies and some people under his thumb start dishing up all the dirt, I'm still going to have to hear about his shit. Even after he dies it won't be over. It's like he's vandalized reality itself.
Even before tv he was a terrible contractor and nearly bankrupted the ny/NJ construction scene. Hell he managed to lose money on casinos which are federally regulated to make sure the house makes money.
This is probably similar to how people felt about Nixon, Reagan, Clinton etc.

I'm sure you're right, but with the ease of spreading information via the Internet, we get to hear about everything all day. I'm sure this is what it was like for those closest to those presidents enough to be up to date all of the time.

The timing is incredible. Everyone is so burnt out on trump news that they stopped paying attention. I know I have.
I mean, I watch the news to see how the world is CHANGING, not how it's staying the same.
And I see the world is getting worse, but it's steadily and predictably getting worse, so, again, not much reason to watch the news.
