Dr. Kost is among a small number of otolaryngologists who do this type of work in Canada.

She said she is part of a group of about 70 surgeons from around the world who perform these technically challenging procedures. They require specialized equipment and higher levels of training.

The phase "gender affirming care" is a feel-good expression specifically created to mask the horrors of the ideology behind it. It is propaganda, nothing less. And you all fell for it.

Perhaps. There's already a huge demand for gender affirming care via breast implants among women. Perhaps public funding would also help steer towards longer lasting and less harmful implants at lower prices.
