Running is a big part of my life, and I'm nowhere near her level. I would imagine I'd be grieving pretty hard if someone told me I couldn't run anymore, even if I were grateful to still be alive.

I'm surprised to hear she's giving up running.

The treatments today for cardiac issues (and many things) are truly astounding.

Must be a condition that's really challenging to keep in check.

Edit: Just did a quick read - it's a progressive condition that can be managed, but not stopped. Uggh, feel bad for her.
