I have not been able to download videos (stock market lectures) from this site. I have tried streamfab and other programs, nothing works. Anyone else have any good suggestions? I have not done screen recording yet as it will take hours.

You bastard lmao.

Add a "?" to your titles so people know it's a question not a how-to! Lol

This reads like spam since you didn't specify any particular video, but instead just linked to the front page.

The videos seem to be hosted on YouTube, and there are any number of downloaders that will handle that. Easy instruction: pause the video when it starts playing, use the share option that appears to copy the URL to your clipboard, then paste it into the downloader of your choice.

Sometimes you can open dev tools, check the network requests, and find the stream url, and download that directly. If you need login, see if you can copy the cookies from the browser and pass that into whatever you are using to download the video (like JDownloader). If you don't understand a lick of what I'm saying, ask AI to explain it, I'm too lazy to go on a troubleshooting journey for this

While this post is about music, I’d start with some of the same recommendations:

If you're not getting any useful answers, it might be partially on you.

I have tried streamfab and other programs, nothing works.

This will put off many potential helpers because you didn't specify what exactly you tried or any error messages. Someone who knows a useful program might not bother because you 'tried other programs' without specifying. You could motivate much more useful comments by not holding back crucial information.

i would try yt-dlp with --cookies-from-browser

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/cat-catch/

This one is good.

You can also use yt-dlp, but this requires a bit of work.

Generally, if nothing else works, in a desktop browser, I right click the video area, and Inspect Code or something like that, which brings up the browser's code inspector.

Then I look for a string ".mp4" which will be the filename. It might be buried under several layers of html, but be persistent clicking backwards and forwards through the HTML, and it shows up eventually.

Try to open that URL in a different browser tab and save it from there.

Sometimes that searching doesn't work though, especially if it's passing parameters to a custom media player.

All I see on that page is a link to YouTube.

The URL in the OP just sent me to the homepage.

I think one has to be logged in to see the actual lesson page.

this is great. I was able to download the video with this. Its blank but at least its a start!

The way it usually works is you start the video, then it will pop up, and then you can download it. It really should work but you did mention a username and password so i'm not sure. In any case i'd try emptying your cache and trying again. Good luck!
