See also Wikipedia. Apparently this is the first time a candidate for an object like this was discovered.

Huh. Might one call this a black hole sun, perhaps?

Does it wash away the rain?

Computer simulations showed that rather than being an enormous star powered by nuclear fusion, the object is a black hole so swaddled in shrouds of dense gas that it radiates like a star.

If the astronomers are correct, it suggests that scores of other mysterious Little Red Dots, or LRDs, that appear in nearly every deep space image from the James Webb space telescope are also black hole stars.

Naidu suspects that black hole stars play a major role in the evolution of galaxies. They might be the seeds of present-day supermassive black holes, such as the one at the centre of the Milky Way.

Also, punctuation is hard, huh?
