I think one more bonus chapter after the epilogue with the "event" actually happening should have brought it to a better end than just leaving it open. I think the readers deserved that much. But still, going by how few series actually end, instead of just fizzling out once sales drop, I think it's commendable that we get a finished series for once. Still, would have loved to see one extra chapter. That's going to be one of those that will continue to bother me whenever I will think back on the series.
