If we want to be reductive and tell just-so stories of human evolutionary history, it's amusing to consider that actually its the people who don't have ADHD or autism as the the unusual, modern mode of being with less and less presence the further you look back in history.
I posited this once on the fediverse and was downvoted into the earth’s mantle. Autism and ADHD have significant evolutionary benefits to tribal societies.

Some people in the fediverse suck at handling neurodivergence respectfully. It's really disheartening when they treat being different like you personally insulted them.
