Frontal lobe bait
You can't be targeted if you don't know you're targeted.
It's not a crime if it's not discovered?
Someone ought to tell his wife to get STI tests done pronto.
To a Republican? The answer is a resounding yes!
And if it is discovered, it is the fault of the person discovering obviously.
Did you really get raped, or did the roofie I put in your drink do its job?
Giggity
If they put cameras in your bathroom and you are not aware, your privacy wasn't violated.
There's a reason they own all the major operating systems, messaging apps, social media platforms, cloud infrastructure and spy agencies.
There's always going to be some deliberate loopholes and exploits in or between the supply-chain to get to you when you're inside their ecosystem.
But some companies promise you're "secure" and "private" if you use one of their expensive, shiny offerings. They swear it on their marketing, ads and PR releases.
It's that comfy feels of paying more for a false sense of privacy and security that matters.
tldr; Use Linux and open source.
It's much easier to just attack the statement with NO, that is in fact not how the human right to privacy works. It is just misconduct, it is just extreme ignorance, a lack of knowledge about the things that your country put the person in charge of.
Mike Rogers deserves to not ever feel safe or secure. I hope he dies.
Well I have some good news for you!
Just not yet lol
Really? The Schrodinger defense?
This is the type of motherfucker to say:
"Well I raped you while you were drunk asleep, and you didn't wake up, so was it really rape?"
What do you MEAN 'if we don't know'??
EVERYBODY FUCKING KNOWS
If I kill someone without them noticing I would not be a murderer by that logic.
And somehow voyeurism is still illegal.
It's illegal when the poors do it. The rich can't cash in on that as easily.
Mike Rogers has been IGNORING privacy violation complaints for ten years*!
This is the guy Abdul El-Sayed is running against.
“Congressman, here is a supercut of every time you’ve taken a shit in the last five years. I’ve been posting updates on an invite-only website. Every member of your staff is in there, and they LOVE seeing each pained expression you make. But you didn’t know, so I didn’t violate your privacy.”
But you told him you sick fuck! How could you just violate him so by telling him??
Tell me, if i spy on you ewery day after work when you are unlocking your bicycle to go home, and each day i see one more number, so at the end of the week i know whole passcode for unlocking your bibycle.
Did i not violate your privacy and security just because you dont know that i was spying on you??
Who do you think is going to answer
Let me be more direct. Here is the situacion. Big companies are spying on people and use that informacions directly against you.
People dont know that this is happenening so they cant be mad about it. If you explain to someone what is going on anyone will be mad and say no am not allowing this any more. But the thing is, even when one realises what is going on they dont see any way how to stop that. Thats why many people say that is shit but we cant stop it no matter what we do, so lets pretend it doesnt exist. Only knowledge is opsticle between our freedom and us. Nothing else.. Ofcourse we can stop spying on us, but for that you first need to understand how spying works.
Noone is braking ito your system and stealing informacion about you. No the sustem you are using is collecting that info and sending it wilingly! Am talking about Windows here, Mac os and on boile devoces Android and Ios. Linux on pc doesnt do that, graphine os on mobile is not doing that, but people dont know it.
People need to realise what open source software is. Because eweryone are using software so much these days, so they need to know some thing about the stuff that they are using..
Me. And the answers is: maybe
The American intelligence apparatuses had been using this line of reasoning to legalize their illegal operations from the start: computers collecting data on citizens are not committing 'surveillance'. If a human needs to assess that data then they apply for a rubber stamp from the state to allow surveillance of a human, but for the computer to collect and asses? There was never a need to seek authorization: it's not surveillance. Computers collecting data and autonomously acting on that data--even to kill--can never be illegal. Welcome to the United State of Ammerikkka.
That's to say: it never mattered. The verbal affluent to legitimize what they're doing is just that. To people ignorant of computers it may have sounded reasonable back then, given it was dressed up enough, but in the day of computer-controlled economies and warfare I don't think it can stand anymore even to a moron.
It can't change though as changing would necessitate all the current political and economic structures to change: to voluntary put in excruciating effort to give up power. Not only are you asking those in power to debase themselves, but to also debase all those around them. It cannot happen.
What can happen and what should happen is that you should act. You are in control of you: liberate your computers. Not only is this something that is possible, but you are also empowering yourself. When you do this you inversely disempower the polities and economic controls that are superstructures built on this foundation of computer-surveillance and -manipulation.
Hey look, yet another GQP talking point that boils down to not understanding (or willfully dismissing) the idea of consent. Rapists one and all.
“You can’t have a home invasion if you don’t know the robber is hiding in the closet”
Alrighty, so we'll install hidden cameras in all the showers in your home. You won't know about it, so you won't mind either

i thought that guy had sworn off suits for good
It’s an older clip, sir, but it checks out.
People in the US have less privacy rights than Chinese people. They have the amount of privacy that corporations permits.
No that's a violation of the law, your trust, and your privacy.
So what I’m hearing is that theft doesn’t exist if no one is caught. Right? Supermarket chains etc. complaining of theft from any source other than recovered goods from said theft should be null and void.
A tree didn't fall in the forest if you didn't hear the tree fall in the forest.
How in my bathroom? Like in the bidet?
They could as well publicly and really piss and shit all over these hearings at this point.
Wasn’t this from over a decade ago?
When you find out are you allowed to care in retrospect?
Apparently this guy is Abdul El-Sayed's opponent
