Finding Data & Privacy in your Google Account

To see that menu, you need to be on myaccount.google.com, not the main Google search page.

On smartphones or smaller screens, that menu moves from the left side to the top of the screen.

How to find it on any device:

Go to myaccount.google.com in your browser. On a computer: look at the menu on the left side of the screen. On a phone/tablet: look at the navigation bar across the top. Click/tap Data & privacy.

💡 If you still can't find it, just type takeout.google.com directly into your browser's address bar instead of searching for it.

Once you're on the Data & Privacy page:

Step 1 — Scroll to your data options

Scroll down to the section titled Download or delete your data. Click Download your data — this opens Google Takeout.

Step 2 — Select only your music

At the top of the list, click Deselect all (so you don't download everything). Scroll down to find YouTube and YouTube Music. Check the box next to it. Click All YouTube data included. In the pop-up, click Deselect all, then check only music-uploads. Click OK.

Step 3 — Finish the export

Scroll to the bottom and click Next step. Keep the defaults (email link, .zip, 2GB size) and click Create export.
