It's taking up so much space. I'd probably find a different one to shop at just because it makes what looks like a small store into a tiny one.

Well maybe if you'd make sure people have enough food without the shoplifting, the amount of shoplifting would go down too

this is just a combo cctv and alarm with a more obvious shape. Its honestly kinda better than hiddenish cctv most shops have. Would be cool if it did look like a dalek though.

So what it records and has an alarm? No one will or should do anything.

Is it worth it to help corporate Greggs make some more money? No They will argue it will put prices up, they do that anyway

It’s a gloried gimmick. They already have cameras and the police ain’t gonna be bothered by pinched sausage rolls. If Greggs wanted to make it safer they could pay fair taxes to solve root issue. There a reason they are highly populated in impoverished areas.

It’s not for your safety. It’s a camera in everyone’s face. What’s the betting it has a screen that welcomes you by name soon and an offer if you buy an overpriced drink.
