Altman’s outreach also highlights how the company has been involved publicly and behind the scenes as the landmark policy proposal has developed over months, dating back to last year.

No other major tech company has so far taken a public position on the measure. According to some kids’ safety advocates, tech companies pushed back to narrow the bill and how it could be enforced.

A real journalist might have drawn parallels to Meta's involvement in age verification laws, but since this was written by someone too brainless and/or spineless to pull on that thread, I guess we should all feel good about how hard Sam Altman is fighting to keep kids safe.
