I've experienced both systems, the NHS needs to be protected and funded properly and this fucker needs to be thrown into the North Sea. If you've never experienced healthcare in places like the US, I hope you never do.

we are kinda the reason they have been under assault since it started. Their conservatives have a lot of support from conservatives around the world who did not like how good the system did and pushed the us trick of poisoning the well.

Never let the existence and goals of the evil empire blind you to the reality that oligarchs have their own class solidarity and need no convincing of it.

Oh of course, well if the economic genius Kwasi Kwarteng says so it must be a good idea.

Isn't he the one who sat smiling and laughing at something going on in his head at the Queen's funeral?

General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
