misleading headline. if you use factory overclocked 5090 which can draw up to a 1000(!)watts its faster than the founders edition which is capped at 575watts.
This also increases the already increased chances of that 2×6 setting the rest of the card on fire.
Thing struggles enough with its amperage modulation margin as it is, hence the spontaneous combustion reputation. A class-action is only a matter of time once someone can pin (🥁 tss!) away from the non-propietary scapegoat.
