TBH, I think the app looks ugly and the little jokes cycling during patching are obnoxious... Also, the settings don't seem to actually work properly on YT? It autoplays in the home screen even when that's disabled, for example.
IDK, I'll explore this a little more when I get some more time.

I dont utilize any of the patcher tools myself anymore because I deleted my Google account long ago, so I only keep up for friends who aren't as down the rabbit hole as I am privacy wise.

On the thread: sheesh at least it's not some Nazi or other extreme thing... The dev is just kind of an asshole, it seems. To be honest, I've heard of enough open-source drama to expect some sort of power-tripping or entitled dev somewhere in every project.
