I'm putting 50 bucks on this bearing only the most vague resemblance to Raveloft. They'll use the names and there will be a scary vampire, and that's going to be it.

vampire of the mists was one of my favorite books as a kid. and written by a first-time novelist who went on to write tons of books in sci-fi fantasy. recommended
