[SOLVED] Why cant MacOS sort files by actual timestamps? (lemmy.world)

Seriously, even if you sort by Creation or Modifcation Dates, it only roughly does it, same with sort by File Size.

It refuses to sort by the rule or whatever option you choose like that. Does it fine on iPhone/iOS...

It just sorts them alphabetically all the time within whatever the larger rule is

Edit: it was grouping,

Finder > View > uncheck Use Groups then click the Size header to sort from high to low or low to high
