Today marks a decade since I started full-time employment at my current company. In that time, I've had 8 managers and soon to be 5 job titles (all doing the same thing). 3 of those managers were over the past 18 months and all were laid off.

I'm tired, boss.

On the plus side, my net worth has 20x since then. I met my spouse. Bought our dream house. Adopted a spoiled dog. Travelled to 6 countries. And restarted my hobby sport. Life has definitely been good for this past decade.

I guess this is why it's important to remember to live your life while you're in the boring middle. When I think about my job, it sounds miserable. But otherwise this past decade has been the absolute best 10 years of my life.
