Last night at about 2AM I went for a walk around town because it was really nice out, and the quiet stillness of liminality is very peaceful.
I ended up by some sort of community center building, didn't really pay much attention to what it was and I havent really been down that way before, but there was a flock of deer on the lawn, two standing and five more laying down.
I sat myself down on the curb across the street, and interacted with them for about half an hour. They make weird noises. I had no idea.
They did not like the “hiiiiii baaaaaabyyyyyy!” Treatment, but they did seem to like/were interested in rapid clicking. They didnt approach me or anything, which is just as well those fuckers are scary up close, but we mutually watched each other and that was fun.
