Prosecutors revealed during KJ’s bond hearing on Friday, September 11, that investigators allegedly discovered footage on KJ’s phone that showed him and an unidentified family member under the age of 12 engaging in sexual activity, according to Page Six.

Per the outlet, investigators allegedly discovered “multiple encounters” where KJ used “predatory [and] derogatory” language toward the victim. The incident had not been publicly reported, with prosecutors now planning to press charges.

KJ has not publicly addressed the accusations. Us reached out to his attorney for comment.

There is no such thing as sex with a 12 year old, it is rape. Shame on US Weekly for using language that protects predators.

For context, the dude is 15. And the video might be old. It's just stupid to throw that into the same pot as someone violently forcing someone else to have sex.

For context, that could be a sophomore in high school dating a sixth-grader.

I hope you're just old and have forgotten how big the difference is between 12 and 15.

Edit: And if someone can't legally consent to sex, sex with them is legally rape. Take it up with the legal system.

All of that is correct and from what the article says he's a real shitbag, who used violent language to coerce someone to sex. That's definitely rape. I was interested what the legal system actually says, because 15 year olds also cannot consent to sex. However, many states use an age of 14 as barrier. Anyone under 14 is protected even against someone just 3 years older. So it sounds like this asshole can be tried.

Investigators are the ones to make that determination and they arrested him based on this video as well as other evidence. You don't need to defend anyone raping someone under the age of 12.

Kim Zolciak is a reality tv personality most famous for being on Real Housewives of Atlanta.

He was, yes. The controversy isn't about whether he was found guilty or not. It was the incredibly light sentence the judge gave him despite being found guilty. It was so controversial that the judge was recalled.
