Surfshark disclosed that hackers accessed one of its internal test servers after a configuration error exposed it to the internet.

See, for better or worse, this is why I "trust" surfshark....they have background test systems that don't simply use live databases. I know this is basic precautions.... But here in 2026 that is unfortunately something to applaud.
