Xfce is pleased to announce a new Matrix channel to support translators, communication between language teams, and the onboarding of new translators.

https://matrix.to/#/#xfce-translation:matrix.org

If you haven't previously signed in to a Matrix channel, the Matrix landing page will helpfully provide you with a list of suggested clients to use if you don't already have one installed.

We've also updated a couple of translation resources:

We strongly encourage the use of our #xfce-translation Matrix channel as the primary means of communicating with the Xfce team and other translators.

If you are interested in volunteering to help translate Xfce, please take a look at https://docs.xfce.org/contribute/translate/start for instructions on how to get started working with Transifex and our team.

We are always looking for new contributors to help us improve Xfce.

We look forward to seeing you on the #xfce-translation channel!
