I feel like this would make for a great character class idea: The Scapegoat. They've got so many curses, hexes, and all around bad luck that somehow it holds a stable matrix of dark power. Maybe all they do is debuff enemies. Or maybe they can sap bad luck out of the room so the party starts rolling better.
