Help reading the mod log? (sh.itjust.works)

Does the Lemmy mod log no longer show users the comments that have been removed by mods? Another user and I were recently banned from !aboringdystopia@lemmy.world for the generic reason of being a “troll account”. The thread referenced by the mod log was about Zionist genocide so the bans make me instantly suspicious. However I don’t want to go full attack dog until I see the comments that were removed.

Can anybody help me figure out how to read my own comments that have been removed? The normal screen I go to shows me the contents of other comments that I have had removed by moderators, but this time it doesn’t.

Also to be clear: I am not here to argue about my ban, I’m mostly just confused. The moderator who banned me has personally disliked me for a long time because I tend to call out their lies, but they never came across to me as the petty ban type, which is what makes these bans in a thread about Zionism extra suspicious.

That's an impressively bad history you have. Maybe stop telling people to kill themselves and then you might not get banned all the time?

Your ban from !aboringdystopia@lemmy.world is not linked to a specific comment, but they probably saw your modlog and decided you weren't worth having on their community.

There is a story to that lol. Do you remember when the comics community was completely unmoderated for months, but there was a terrible and vicious troll that made the user base drop because they were making everyone miserable? There were months of complaining and nothing being done.

Then I decided to sacrifice my account and say the most offensive thing I could think of. Miraculously, literally one day later after months of problems, the community got a new moderator that banned him and me. The community is now healthy again and I’m perfectly happy to be the punching bag villain because that’s what it took.

I was honestly expecting a permaban from everything but that didn’t happen. The only permanent ban I got was from the blahaj instance which is full of such a patchwork of gender exclusionary communities that require me to pick a gender identity in order to participate. I’d rather just steer clear.
