So American made and owned being maple-washed. Find other vegan offerings then ?
From some quick searching, it seems like Maple Leaf Foods is majority owned by Canadian investors and the majority of their operations are in Canada. It also looks like they only have one factory that focuses on plant-based products and it's one of their US locations.
Hmm ok, I waa mislead by the article it seems. I've done a search and come up with a similar answer. Objection withdrawn !
I don't know how I feel about the new ownership, but I used to love Yves and I suspect I still will. I hope they don't enshittify it. We'll see.
