I’m building out my PS3 & PS4 physical games library before Sony ends Blu-ray disc production in 2028. As a PSN account is region locked and will be deleted in 3 years of inactivity. Basically no way for your family to inherit your account, unless you give them your password and you keep it hush hush. Also an issue on Steam.

Theres nothing like gifting your games to friends when you have completed the story.

I usually buy Blu-rays then rip them. My wife has some old DVDs and a lot of them are already unreadable, so I value the redundancy of having digital copies but without the DRM.

I'm not broke, but not especially. I don't drink or smoke or go out to eat any more. No kids. No pets. Basically no social life... So, I've got a little extra cash for hobbies. 🤷️
