I'd prefer if she stayed away.

everyone would prefer if she stayed away. However the DNC is probably going to push her again as they consider her the 'safe' candidate who is not going to upset their donors or push any sort of real change like people want.

Pretty much. After all these are insane times, Trump presents the greatest threat to democracy we've ever seen! Donate now to save the American way of life from fascism!

So is she pretending to move left or is El Sayed going to make a pivot to the status quo?

[-] tigermountain@lemmy.world 19 points 22 hours ago

Of course the democrats are stupid enough to bring Kamala Harris back into play.

I think this is one of those necessary evil type of things.

He's very vulnerable with centrists, because they suck and don't think blue no matter who applies to them, apaic is spending on Rogers, and the Democratic Jewish community is fundraising for his Republican opponent.

Like it or not, unity will be important to him if he wants to win and help enact progressive policies.

Plus if he's talking about black healthcare, to black women, she's as good as any right now outside of Jocelyn Elders.

Of course of she had any wits about her she'd use this setting to also apologize for her snub of the Muslim community.
