I'm really surprised it made it to Play Store so long before F-Droid. I wonder if there were more hurdles with the latter?

It’s okay. Seems like 60% of videos are reposts from Insta or TikTok.
I’m doing my part by uploading content occasionally (though very inconsistently). It can take me a while to have an idea and then see it through, and most of my videos are random silly posts.
Not having it on F-Droid is a huge downside.
EDIT: Was thinking of Pixelfed, I originally said "The bigger one now however is the app now uses AI which is of course the opposite of many of its potential users want."
We're working on adding to F-Droid, what do you mean the app uses AI?
