The former shoplifter credited her recovery to support she received from the Offending 2 Recovery , externalscheme run by West Midlands Police, which offered her free, tailored support focused on treating addiction to break the link between crime.

"I'd never been clean in 29 years, instead of sending me to jail for the 29th time, money was spent on helping me.

"My life is amazing now," she said.

the real story here.

The Robin Hood Economy is dawning. The wealthy steal everything they can from us, nothing wrong with taking whatever WE need.

Just make sure it's from the wealthy, not a fellow poor, who happens to own a shop.

Absolutely. Small family businesses are off limits. Major corporations only.

Boycott big chains, shop at small businesses, especially restaurants. Find those little family restaurants with the great food, and visit often. Tell your friends. Take your friends. Pay in cash. Tip heavy. Write five star reviews.

I chose shoplifting because it was the most moral crime I could choose.

What is she? Birmingham's answer to Omar from 'The Wire'?

The next time you see two women running out the Gap

With arms full of clothes still strapped to the rack

Once they jump in the car, hit the gas and scat

If you have to say something, just stand there and clap
